Hacked Milan
La Rinascente
Taking place inside La Rinascente shopping centre, HACKED was conceived to provide a stage for designers whose work exists outside of conventional exhibition-object parameters and whose ideas and practice cross various disciplines. It operated through a week of back-t0-back experimental performances with young and emerging designers who used new design techniques and methodologies. The events ranged from events demonstrating how to make your own Large Hadron Collider by Super Collider, a race between Dominic Wilcox and a 3D printer, Lo-Fi 3D printing by Something & Son, the sounds of Milan through Foley art and Nelly Ben Hayoun, and downloadable buildings with the WikiHouse team.
